Our History

         Prince Technologies Corporation began in 1997 as Prince JC. Its journey spans enterprise infrastructure, banking software, and education technology—experiences that continue to inform its commitment to dependable systems and accountable service.

Between 1999 and 2003, Prince JC worked to establish Acer desktops, laptops, and servers within major institutional and corporate accounts, including the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). Working closely with Acer Philippines over almost a year, the company addressed BSP’s technical, operational, warranty, and support concerns. This included arranging separate visits to Acer’s Subic Bay manufacturing facility for BSP’s IT and procurement teams.

For those hardware deliveries, Prince JC committed to three-year warranties, onsite replacement of defective hardware, and standby service units as an additional continuity option. These assurances helped Acer become eligible to compete through BSP’s public-bidding process.

Prince JC extended the same approach to other major companies, securing accounts that had previously relied on established US computer brands. Across its Acer business, the company sold, deployed, configured, and supported thousands of desktop computers, thousands of laptops, and hundreds of servers. These engagements strengthened its experience in institutional procurement, large-scale deployment, operational continuity, and support after delivery.

The company’s software experience also included providing the Anti-Money Laundering System (AMLS) and Check Image Clearing System (CICS) to banking clients. These systems formed a significant part of its experience serving institutions with demanding operational requirements.

Despite the success of its banking systems, PrinceTech made a deliberate strategic decision to withdraw from the banking industry and concentrate on education. The company formally notified its banking clients of this direction in writing, establishing a clear commitment to the sector it had chosen to serve.

That decision reflected an ambition that continues today: to become the number one systems provider dedicated to the education industry.

Today, Prince Technologies Corporation focuses on software and cloud solutions for schools, colleges, and universities. Its Smart Campus ecosystem brings together systems supporting academic, financial, administrative, and learning operations. Its experience in enterprise infrastructure and banking systems contributes to an approach centered on dependable implementation, clear accountability, and lasting institutional partnerships.
